Britt Clapson is a Qualified animal Nurse / Zookeeper with over 20 years of experience working with animals.

Before starting the business I worked at a breeding and boarding kennel in Canberra

And a breeding and boarding kennel in Ingleside for 10 years altogether.

I have been involved with dog training also...

I have bred and exhibited dogs for much of this time; I still have involvement with the Bullmastiff Club of NSW and Ku-ring-gai Dog Club. I have continued an interest in rescue work that I was very much involved in my previous job. I am called on to assess and rescue dogs for the Bullmastiff Club.

Hours of Operation

Mon-Fri 8.30 am- 5pm
Sat 9.30 am- 3 pm

Appointments outsides these hours may be possible advance bookings are essential

Surcharges may apply to jobs after regular hours

Most jobs are charged at a per kilometre rate .
For longer trips hourly rate applies.

Sometimes send something with your smell on it helps a cat settle in when boarding

Cat grass is good for cats

Water is better than milk for most cats

You don't have to buy toys for your cat to be happy. My cat loves the foil from the top of wine bottles, a cardboard box that has holes he can stick his paws out of, dry leaves, and alfoil rolled up into balls.

The most used cat — and sometimes puppy — toys in our house are the laundry lint balls ... with the added bonus of picking up the pet hair from the floorboards and carpet as they play!

Cats are natural carnivores and most of our pet cats just love a good munch on something meaty! Some butchers have the odd chicken neck floating around, this does sound gross but your cat will love you! (Make sure to serve outside to minimize mess.)

Our couch was being ripped to shreds even though I had a scratching pole for my kitty, so I bought her favorite treats and manually put her paws against the pole then gave her a treat.

It took no more than a week for her to be using her scratching pole and I was vigilant in giving her a treat every time.
Now she's used to it, there are no more treats.

Cats can learn to walk with one bell so that it doesn't make any noise. Put two bells on their collar, plus a small mirror to catch light to warn the birds and lizards your cat might be hunting.

You can also get collars that sound when they leap a deterrent..

Cat territories can encompass up to 7 acres so you may not be the only one enjoying your cat.

Put id tags on your animals with contact numbers for emergencies.
