Airport Transfers
We can undertake the task of getting quotes and booking for the interstate travel of your pet, with either Qantas or Virgin Blue. There is no extra charge for this service.
OUTWARD FLIGHTS FROM KINGSFORD SMITH AIRPORT:
Trips to the airport can be time consuming. Advance booking is essential to cope with the time involved. You and your pet(s) can travel together in the pet taxi (One person only)…or your pet can travel without you. Animals must be at the airport 90 minutes before the flight.
INCOMING FLIGHTS:
We organise to be at the airport to meet incoming flights around 30 minutes after the plane’s scheduled landing time. (The plane’s unloading time takes approximately this long). Your pet is then transported as soon as possible.

NOTE: However, if you are flying with your pet, your pet can be considered as excess baggage. In this case, the airline charges are less, but the pet must be booked by you, since the pet will be booked on your ticket. In this case, you must be present to book your pet in at the airport, as you need to fill out, sign, and retain paperwork.
TRANSPORT CRATES
We can organise the purchase or hire crates on your behalf for your pet’s travel. As professionals in the industry, we are able to supply them at reduced prices. For cats, I suggest that a cage be purchased rather than hired; as this is safer at the receiving end…you can just pick up cage and cat, leaving the airport without the difficulty of handling an upset cat that might very easily escape.
All crates for airline travel must be airline approved. These are plastic crates with a wire door. Crate halves must be bolted together. (Some international crates made of plywood are no longer accepted by Virgin Blue especially) * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * *
BOARDING KENNEL AND CATTERY INFORMATION
We provide transport in specially fitted out air-conditioned vans. We transfer pets to any kennel you choose. All require seeing your pet’s vaccination papers current for this 12 month period.
Vaccinations.
Most kennels require C5 vaccination for dogs. Some require C& or C3 B3 vaccination (where part Kennel Cough/Bordatella Vaccination is given up the nose) Cats are generally are required to have an f3 vaccination, some kennels need you to worm your cat prior to staying. Any vaccination nearly due should be done ahead of kenneling your pet. I need you to organize to send your vaccination documentation to your kennel, or supply me with a copy to take with your pet…otherwise the kennels will reject your pet. Tick protection is a prerequisite for most, if not all, kennels. Please note down the last time you used this sort of protection. You may send a dose of your protection medication with your pet, to be applied at the boarding facility or you can arrange for them to supply the dosage for an extra cost. Tick collars are not suitable, since many kennels allow pets to sleep or play together. The collars are toxic if chewed. Bedding for pets can accompany the pet, but may not be returned, since pets often take out their frustration on this and destroy it. Check with the kennel/cattery first… Coats should be labeled if sending them. Collars sometimes get lost or destroyed…and some kennels are not in favor of them either…check with your kennel/cattery first. We can take several animals, together, of various sizes and descriptions. Deliveries or pick-ups with no-one home are not a problem…but a secure yard is a must.
